Why Gradients Are Everywhere in 2026

Depth without photos – a good gradient makes flat UI feel premium.
Brand color control – blend your palette instead of clashing blocks.
Fast loading – a PNG or CSS gradient weighs a fraction of a stock photo.
Timeless trend – soft meshes and duotones keep returning.

How to Apply a PSD Gradient

Open the PSD and drag the background layer into your project.
Scale it to your canvas with Ctrl-T (Windows) or Cmd-T (macOS).
For round logos and cards, add a mask and fade the edges.
Use a blend of 30-70% opacity to keep text readable on top.

Accessibility Note

Always check contrast before putting text on a gradient – a beautiful blend is useless if your headline is unreadable. Test both light and dark text, and keep important text on the calmest part of the gradient.
